L60mm Standard Diameter 2.7mm Transparent Fiber Optic Splice Sleeves

 

 

Description:

 

 A Fiber Optic Splice Sleeve is consisted of cross linked polyolefin, hot melt tubes and stainless reinforcing steel rod which keep optic transmission properties of optical fiber and enhance the protection to optical fiber splices. It is friendly operated to the optic fiber during installation without damaged and micro bending.

 

 

How to use a Fiber Optic Splice Sleeve?

 

 The Fiber Optic Splice Sleeve was developed to protect and strengthen fusion splices on fiber optic cables. We must be installed on the optical fiber before fiber fusion (otherwise, you will have to break the optical fiber and start again).

 First, slide the Fiber Optic Splice Sleeve onto the optical fiber.

 Then weld the two optical fibers. After the welding is completed, slide the sleeve onto the optical fiber fusion point and cover the connect point and the exposed optical fiber.

 Third, put the protective sleeve into the protective sleeve oven built in the welding machine. There, the Fiber Optic Splice Sleeve is heated to melt and contract around the joint.
